[6 week Program]

January 11~February 20, 2016

  • Intensive English

An intense, 20-hour per week, full-time program geared for college-bound students in need of a firm foundation in academic English. There are four levels of instruction offered: beginner, low-intermediate, high-intermediate, and advanced. Each level consists of twelve week-long thematic units that address all the disciplines of English: listening, speaking, reading, writing, and pronunciation. Students may choose to study in the morning or evening depending on their schedule.

In addition to the 20 in-class hours, we offer enriching interactive experiences where students are given the opportunity to naturally interact and communicate in English. These activities are not mandatory, but they have proven to increase English skills and awareness at a much faster pace. Such activities include but are not limited to volunteering at senior homes, mentoring young students, scavenger hunts at various places both around town and in the city, college visits and socials with clubs on college campuses, dining out, week-end trips, etc. Applications are welcome at any time.

  • Practical ESL

A useful, hands-on approach to English geared for adults who want to become more “natural” in the English language for every day usage to improve the quality of their lives. Many people living in the US have been here for 5, 10, even 20 years without gaining a firm foundation in the English language. This is a part-time course developed specifically with these people in mind. Perhaps you wish to inquire about a bill, speak to your child’s teacher, fill out an application, go on a job interview, etc. There are so many things that we want to do and HAVE to do, but without a firm foundation in English, they can be so burdensome and difficult. Practical ESL is the answer! We have five levels available. Classes meet twice a week, three hours per day. Both morning and evening classes are available. Applications are welcome at any time.
